This workshop covers the steps and processes needed to create a mold in SOLIDWORKS. You'll begin by learning some fundamental more...s of injection molding, followed by several videos detailing the steps required to create a part mold. You'll learn how to analyze a model to see if it's ready for mold creation, prepare a model for mold creation, and all the steps required to make the mold core, cavity and any side-cores. In addition to the main workshop example, you'll also get to practice making a few simple molds along the way.

Experience with advanced part modeling. Surfacing skills are a benefit, but not a requirement.
