SolidWorks 2012 Flow Simulation
Overview:
SolidWorks Flow Simulation is a full featured Computation fluid dynamics (CFD) program that simplifies your computational fluid dynamic studies, making them more accessible to the average user. Where FloXpress has its limitations, Flow Simulation provides increased parameter and boundary control, a variety of plots, mesh refinement, and transient analysis. Use it to simulate liquid and gas flow in real world conditions, run "what if" scenarios, heat transfer studies, and much more.
The SolidWorks Flow Simulation 2012 course will teach you how to set up, run and view results of a fluid flow and/or heat transfer analysis using SolidWorks Flow Simulation. It will guide you through the necessary commands, menus, and options required to run a Flow Simulation analysis. Project lessons let you practice various simulation studies, helping you to reinforce what you`ve learned.
Prerequisites:
An Essentials level of competency using SolidWorks 2012. Experience with CFD analysis is highly recommended, but not required.
Additionally, you can gain a cursory knowledge of Flow Simulation by reviewing the SolidWorks FloXpress course in i GET IT.
Intended Audience:
SolidWorks users who want to analyze their model using CFD principles.
Course Duration:
4 hrs.
Skill Level:
Advanced
