CATIA V5 R21 - GAS/GPS
Overview:
This course teaches users how to perform structural analysis using the CATIA V5 Generative Structural Analysis workbench. Students will also learn how to create different analysis cases that utilize loads and restraints. Key topics include: Structural analysis, restraints, loads, meshes (1D, 2D, and 3D), results, refining the mesh, FEA concepts, applied mass, static case, frequency case, analysis results images, mesh refinement, virtual parts, sensors, assembly analysis, bolt tightening, weldment assembly analysis, and analysis assemblies.
Prerequisites:
V5 Foundation or equivalent experience. Must be familiar with basic FEA principles/assumptions.
Intended Audience:
Designers, Design Engineers, and Engineers who use CATIA V5 to design models and need to perform structural analysis on their designs.
