SolidWorks 2012 Electrical Routing
Overview:
This course is designed to teach you how to create and manage both electrical and conduit routes using the SolidWorks Routing add-in. Included in this course is an overview of how to create electrical routing components and their design requirements. Users will also learn how to document wire information, create flatten route/harness drawings, and use custom libraries. Key topics include: routing options, system options, library components, Excel, cable route, manual route, from/to list, reroute, coverings, flatten route drawings, pipe/conduit route, electrical route, and flexible conduit.
Prerequisites:
A basic understanding of SolidWorks 2012 - Sketching, Drawings, and Assemblies.
Intended Audience:
SolidWorks users who need to add electrical or conduit routes to their assemblies.
