NX 8 Assemblies

Overview:
The NX 8 Assemblies course is intended to teach you how to build and maintain assemblies. The course starts with basic assembly topics (terminology, structure, preferences, the Assemblies application and toolbar, the Assembly Navigator, and reference sets). You’ll learn when to use the bottom-up assembly method, and when to use the top-down method. The course also covers Assembly Information, components, history, versioning, part modeling techniques, and explosions. You'll even find a unit devoted entirely to practicing what you've learned through specially-developed projects. Upon completion of this course, you'll be equipped to work with assemblies in NX 8.

Prerequisites:
40 hours of NX modeling experience is suggested for students without any assembly experience.

Intended Audience:
Manufacturing Engineers, Designers, and Design Engineers.
