NX 1953 Series Sheet Metal
Overview:
This course is intended to teach users about the useful tools, features, and options available in the NX Sheet Metal application. Users will learn how to set up preferences and defaults, and then start practicing the creation of a long list of sheet metal features. Key topics include: customer defaults, tabs, base features, secondary features, flanges, full width flange, centered flange, at end flange, offset flange, contour, contour flange, lofted flange, corner, break corner, closed corner, three bend corner, job, bend, unbend, dimple, louver, cutout, bead, solid punch, edge rip, flat solid, advanced sheet metal features.
Prerequisites:
At least 30 hours of NX experience or completion of our NX Basic Sketching and NX Basic Modeling courses. Sheet metal design experience helpful, but not required.
Intended Audience:
Designers, Design Engineers, and Manufacturing Engineers who need to understand how to create sheet metal parts.
