This course topic is intended to teach users about the SOLIDWORKS assembly tools and features designed to help create parts in the context of an assembly. This is known as Top-Down design, and it is a powerful way of working in a conceptual design environment using existing geometry in an assembly to base your design on. Upon completion of this course you`ll be ready to build your own assemblies in SOLIDWORKS.

Prerequisites:
A basic understanding of SOLIDWORKS or completion of i GET IT`s SOLIDWORKS Essentials for Users.

Intended Audience:
SOLIDWORKS users who work with assemblies and want to explore a different method to create assemblies.
