Overview:
This course is designed to teach you the fundamentals of creating and running Motion studies for your SOLIDWORKS models, from simple animations to dynamic motion analyses. You will learn what Motion is and what you can do with it, the basic concepts involved in a motion study, how to define contact and friction, CAM integration, motion optimization, and how Motion works with SOLIDWORKS Simulation.

Prerequisites:
A clear understanding of SOLIDWORKS assembly modeling practices, including mates. An understanding of basic physical principles will be helpful, but is not required.

Intended Audience:
SOLIDWORKS users who want to use Motion to run simulation and optimization studies for their assembly designs.
